The Kaleidoscope Striped Carpets Project Turns Heads!
A well-designed stair carpet can completely transform a hallway, adding both style and practicality to one of the busiest areas of the home. In this recent installation, our team fitted a striking Striped Kaleidoscope carpet to a traditional wooden staircase, creating a vibrant focal point while maintaining a clean, classic look.
Stylish Striped Carpets Turned Stair Runners
Striped carpets are a fantastic choice for staircases, as they naturally draw the eye upwards and help emphasise the shape and flow of the stairs. In this installation, the Kaleidoscope striped design features a mix of warm and neutral tones, including shades of red, beige, cream and darker accents. These colours work beautifully alongside the natural wood steps and the white staircase spindles, creating a balanced and welcoming hallway.
The narrow stripe pattern adds visual interest without overpowering the space, making it ideal for both traditional and modern homes.
Precision In-House Binding
One of the key details that makes this installation stand out is the neatly finished binding along the edges of the runner. This binding was completed in-house by our team, allowing us to produce a clean, durable finish that perfectly follows the shape of the staircase and landing.
In-house binding also means we can tailor runners precisely to the staircase layout, including turns and landings, ensuring the final result fits seamlessly within the space.
Expert Installation with Stair Bars
Once prepared, the stair runner was professionally installed by our experienced team of fitters, who ensured the carpet was carefully positioned and aligned. Particular attention was paid to the stripe pattern so that it runs consistently along the stairs and across the landing, creating a neat and symmetrical finish.
To complete the installation, stair rods (stair bars) were also fitted. These provide an additional decorative detail while helping to secure the runner in place, adding a classic finishing touch that complements the traditional style of the staircase.
The finished result is a staircase that not only looks fantastic but also offers improved comfort and grip underfoot, perfect for a busy household.
